Quiz Results 25 August 2026

Tuesday evening’s quiz raised £240 for Ilfracombe and District Lions Club. The winning team was ‘Squash and a Squeeze’. Obviously found our tables a bit small…

The Lions have been a part of the local community since 1974 and during this time their fundraising activities have raised nearly £200,000.  Nearly all of which has been used to support local good causes and people in need.

Their geographical area includes the beautiful villages of Combe Martin, Hele, Lee and West Down. They meet at 7.00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at Ilfracombe Dive Club, Ropery Road, Ilfracombe EX34 9EF.  Visitors and potential new members are always welcome.
