Tuesday evening’s quiz raised £200 for the Childrens Holiday Foundation North Devon. The Foundation is a registered charity whose mission is to provide holidays of a lifetime to Florida for children with critical, life affecting/ limiting illnesses and disabilities. The children are accompanied by voluntary adult helpers on a two week holiday to Florida to visit the many exciting theme parks. These include the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood, Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens and Gatorland. Each of these trips is paid for from donations and fundraising, and, with increasing insurance and travel costs, this has never been more important to the success of each holiday.
