One of Ilfracombe's best-kept secrets, with harbour views to the front and the Bristol Channel and Welsh coast from our rear terrace. Whether you're mooring up for the night, fancy a sundowner after a day on the beach, or are looking for a friendly club to sail with, the door's open. Sailing and social members both get full run of the club, discounted drinks, and a lively calendar all year round.
Non-members are always welcome before 8pm — so if you're new to Ilfracombe, come and see for yourself.

A cosy well-stocked bar decorated with pennants from all over the world, opening onto our open-air terrace and the best sunset view in Ilfracombe.
Sailing & Rallying
From club rallying to the famous Round Lundy Yacht Rally, and social fleet days.

Subject to availability, members can hold their birthday celebrations / pre wedding drinks etc in our cosy bar area, right on the quayside.

Five (boats) Go Sailing
Five yachts from the club left Ilfracombe Harbour on Monday 20th July and sailed to Clovelly. The return trip took place on Wednesday 23rd July, with the faster boats making it back in time to get on their moorings before the tide dropped.
Round Lundy Rally
Our flagship event and one of the best-loved offshore rallies in the UK.
Skippers sign in on the quayside, the fleet rounds Lundy Island, and the club is open late for post-race celebrations and prize giving. Entries open each spring.

New Members always welcome
Sailing or social, IYC membership means full access to the club, discounts on drinks and events, and a genuinely friendly welcome. No stuffy dress codes, no closed doors — just a good club with a great view.
